Over the last few years, YouTube has become a hub of videos that can be called entertainment. But five youtubers have stood out from the crowd, amassing large amounts of subscribers and views due to their popularity in a variety of categories.

Toby Turner, also known as Tobuscus, is a well-known comedian on YouTube with over 7 million subscribers. His videos have been viewed over 1.5 billion times since he started his channel in 2006 and he has become one of the best entertainers on YouTube today. He currently has multiple channels for his content but his main two are TobyGames and Tobuscus which both have over 2 million subscribers each. He makes vlogs, comedy skits, movies, songs, and much more that people enjoy watching. He is well-known for having many famous friends including Adam Devine , Shay Carl , Caspar Lee , and many others.
4 – Smosh
Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla are the two co-founders of Smosh, which is one of the most popular channels on YouTube with over 20 million subscribers . They uploaded their first video in 2005 and have been making fun videos for years since then. Their comedy skits about gaming, pop culture references, comic books, movies, TV shows, food among other things have attracted people to subscribe to them so they can continue to make new content every week. Known for their videos about the game Minecraft, the Yogscast YouTube channel is one of the most successful content providers on YouTube today. Their main channel has over 15 million subscribers while their other channels (BlueXephos , TotalBiscuit , etc.) have hundreds of thousands of subscribers to make them some of the most popular channels on YouTube . They are also named among Forbes’s top earners in the gaming category due to their popularity . Lewis Brindley initially founded this group along with his friend Simon Lane in 2008 and since then they have continued uploading videos every week playing games such as World Of Warcraft , Of War 3 , Far Cry 3 , and many more.
2 – PewDiePie
The undisputed king of YouTube, Felix Kjellberg, or PewDiePie as he is known to his subscribers has over 40 million subscribers and the numbers keep growing every day . His popularity is due to his gaming videos where he makes people laugh while playing video games in a comedic way. He has played games such as Spore , Amnesia: The Dark Descent , Outlast among others and people love watching him play them and make jokes about what happens along the way . He also does vlogs, Q&A videos, challenges, collaborations with other famous youtubers on YouTube today which have brought him so much fame . At this point nobody will question his claim to the top 2 position of being the biggest youtuber today.
1 – Smosh Games
The undisputed champions of YouTube are Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, also known as Smosh , with over 20 million subscribers on their main channel . They upload content every week about video games, movie trailers, TV show spoofs among other things. They became popular in 2005 where they posted videos at a rate of one per week but they didn’t become true stars until 2008 when they started doing parodies like “Pokémon Theme Music Video” which has over 100 million views and many more that followed afterward . Since then their fame has increased exponentially with each passing year and now they are one of the most famous youtubers on the internet.
5 – Drake and Josh Go Hollywood
A video that has received over 3 million views . It is about Drake, Josh , and Megan moving to Hollywood where they do miscellaneous tasks such as getting jobs , visiting haunted houses, playing laser tag among other things . The quality of this video is a little poor along with some scenes being a little off but it still manages to keep people entertained enough to watch it all . This content is from 2006 which makes it one of the oldest videos on this list. The dialogue in this video is amazing and if you want to laugh for a few minutes then look no further than here . 4 – I Suck at Call of Duty Zombies (Dragons)
This video received over 12 million views . It is about the two main characters, Tobuscus and Lui Kang who are playing zombies in call of duty . At first they do very well but later on the game gets to the point where it’s impossible to pass so they decide to rage quit. The dialogue between these two users is amazing because it allows people to see things from their perspective which helps them understand how gamers feel while trying to play especially this game. Other than that, there isn’t much else here since most of this video focuses on killing zombies which then causes them unneeded stress , hence the name dragons . If you enjoy watching people play zombies and mess around then this video is well the one for you since it does a great job at presenting both those things.
3 – Pokemon “Jared’s Rap”
This video that was uploaded 8 years ago has over 10 million views which isn’t a lot compared to others on this list but it still certainly deserves a spot. It starts off with Jared who is going through puberty and struggling to talk to girls, hence why he decides to rap about them . This video shows how many people were constantly looking for content due to the lack of videos online back then . The song itself also doesn’t make much sense as Jared fails to rhyme words together multiple times which results in him getting mad at God for not helping him . Despite that, I still think this video is worth watching because it has Jared rapping , albeit poorly but he still manages to do it .
2 – Tobuscus Adventures
This video has over 13 million views and it’s about two friends, Toby Turner and Adam Montoya who are playing medieval times game. The dialogue here between them is amazing because they make jokes throughout the entire video which results in people constantly laughing while watching. This content doesn’t get old since there are many parts where they mess around with each other which keeps you interested enough to watch until the end .You should definitely check out their other videos if you enjoy this one since they all have similar dialogue that will keep you entertained for hours on end .
